Gavin Oxley, M.L.S.
Director of External Affairs and Media Strategy
Gavin Oxley serves as Director of External Affairs & Media Strategy for Americans United for Life. He grew up in rural Southwest Virginia and graduated from the University of Virginia where he completed his B.A. in Medical Anthropology, Ethics, and Care with a minor in Environmental Science. Gavin later earned his Master of Legal Studies from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law.
Beginning his career in the Pro-Life Movement with Students for Life of America, Gavin served as Regional Coordinator for Virginia/West Virginia before transitioning to lead the medical and law student programs. He later moved to the Center for Client Safety, now an affiliate of AUL, where he served as National Lead Investigator. He has been with Americans United for Life since early 2025 and now directs the organization’s national media presence and external strategy.
His commentary and analysis—especially on chemical abortion and the intersection of culture, health, and law—have appeared in The Hill, Washington Examiner, Fox News, and The Daily Wire, and he has been quoted by the Associated Press, The New York Times, and CNN.
