Marriage and childbearing are at an all-time low in American history. This certainly affects the decisions of those who are considering abortion and delights those who are selling it. The emotional, financial, and relational toll of the past year and a half have left people with less optimism for family life and fewer connections to make it a reality. On the other hand, isolation and reflection in the past year have made some reconsider their desire for family. Unfortunately, the realities of pandemic life have driven many families apart. The Institute for Family Studies has conducted research pointing to this conclusion, and today we’re joined by IFS and AEI scholar Brad Wilcox to discuss the results.
