Americans United for Life’s Government Affairs Director, Brad Kehr, and Gavin Oxley, Legal Operations & Media Relations Manager, had the exciting opportunity to attend the 2025 Care Net National Conference in Charlotte, NC, in August. More than 1,800 individuals representing pregnancy centers (PCs) across the country were present.

Brad spoke at a breakout session entitled “Protecting and Promoting Your Pregnancy Center Through Policy.” AUL also hosted a booth where we engaged with attendees and presented information on how they can use AUL’s Pregnancy Center Advocacy Hub as a tool to make their voices heard.

AUL has sent 33 unique email campaigns on federal and state issues since the PCAH launched in September 2024. Using our pre-written message, advocates have sent over 9,500 messages to elected officials. The most effective campaign to date has been “STOP HARM TO WOMEN!”, with nearly 8,200 messages sent to HHS Secretary Robert F. Kennedy, Jr., FDA Commissioner Martin A. Makary, M.D., and Members of Congress, calling upon them to pull the dangerous chemical abortion drugs from the market.
