In so many circles the decisions surrounding family formation, and especially children, are becoming nothing more than another lifestyle choice. We are increasing drinking the kool-aid as a culture, that children, similar to pets or a new car, are little more than a symbol of status or achievement. But children are so much more. And while children are a part of a family, they are also endowed with rights of their own.
