WASHINGTON, DC— Catherine Glenn Foster, President & CEO of Americans United for Life, released the following statement regarding the friend-of-the-court brief filed in Americans for Prosperity v. Becerra that AUL joined in support:

Americans United for Life implores the Supreme Court to recognize the First Amendment freedom of assembly rights guaranteed for all Americans as they consider in Americans for Prosperity v. Becerra. Anti-life forces are trying to destroy organizations working toward the defense of human life by targeting the donors who make our life-saving work possible. We trust the Court to side with the Constitution and preserve Americans’ right to impact causes we believe in.

Americans United for Life (AUL) is a nonprofit, public-interest law and policy organization that holds the distinction of being the first national pro-life organization in America—incorporated in 1971. It protects and defends human life from conception to natural death through vigorous legislative, judicial, and educational efforts.
