Washington, DC—On March 4 the United States Supreme Court heard Oral Arguments in the case of June Medical Services v. Russo. Americans United for Life experts were on the scene both inside and outside the Court.

Russo case, the U.S. Supreme Court has the opportunity to protect women’s health by affirming the patient protections at stake from the state of Louisiana.” Said Steven H. Aden Chief Legal Officer & General Counsel at Americans United for Life. “I was in the Supreme Court today with the justices as the parties argued this vitally important case. I am confident that the exemplary legal team from Louisiana, led by Attorney General Jeff Landry and Solicitor General Liz Murrill, gave the Justices everything they need to ensure that all women, no matter their circumstances, will receive the high-quality, consistent medical care they deserve. I am optimistic the Court will make the right decision.”
