Americans United for Life Legal Communications Director, Deanna Wallace, is at the Capitol in Hartford, Connecticut today standing with a coalition of pro-life leaders against NARAL and other pro-choice groups who are trying pass legislation to silence the message of hope that Pregnancy Resource Centers send to the women of Connecticut.
“This proposed legislation is yet another example of a recent effort by the abortion industry to silence those who are committed to giving women facing an unplanned pregnancy access to options other than abortion,” said Wallace. “This is further evidenced by the fact that NARAL Connecticut, a pro-abortion political group headquartered here in Hartford, has been the leading force calling for this legislation. This call is supported only by an unscientific “study” which was created and performed by their own agenda-driven staffers. Contrary to smears by pro-abortion groups such as NARAL, AUL’s many court briefs on this type of legislation provide solid evidence that Pregnancy Resource Centers operate under high ethical standards, and treat each woman they encounter with kindness and compassion.”
