Evangeline Bartz serves as Chief Operating Officer & Corporate Counsel at Americans United for Life.

Evangeline has testified on behalf of pro-life legislation before state and federal legislative and regulatory bodies. She has given interviews for print and television media, and written for pro-life publications. Prior to joining AUL in October 2009, Evangeline was Deputy Director for the Center for the Study of Catholic Higher Education, a research and publications division of the Cardinal Newman Society, where she helped produce a college guide book in which recommended schools, in addition to other criteria, support pro-life positions.

A member of the State Bar of Texas, she earned a Juris Doctor from the University of Texas. She holds a Master of Arts degree from The University of Chicago Divinity School and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Duke University.
