(Washington, D.C.): Today, the Trump Administration will be joining, for the second time, the annual March for Life alongside leading pro-life organizations and thousands of Americans concerned for the cause of life.
John Mize, CEO of Americans United for Life, stated, “We would like to thank the Trump Administration for several pro-life victories during the first year of the Administration. While we anticipate Vice President Vance will surely convey the Trump Administration’s broader commitment to life, the Pro-Life Movement is always moving forward, recognizing that every step back is a life lost and every step forward is a lifetime of achievement. The Trump Administration must hold the line by reaffirming their commitment to Hyde and ensuring its application to all direct and indirect federal spending, including the healthcare subsidies.
“The Administration can commit to ‘gold standard’ science by immediately accelerating their long-promised FDA review,” he continued. “If the data holds true, at least 300 women are harmed each day by the dangerous abortion pill. A strong commitment to life will prioritize the safety of these women. The March for Life deserves thanks from the movement for providing an annual platform to ensure accountability to life.”
Sarah Zagorski, Senior Director of Public Relations and Communications, emphasized, “Our country stands at a precipice. As thousands march in unified agreement that the unborn child deserves our continued fidelity, now is the time to remind the American public of our continuing moral responsibility, one that demands sustained courage and constant action in defense of every human life, at every stage, and in every circumstance.”
