President Trump’s recent proclamation of January 22 as “National Sanctity of Human Life Day” is a crucial step towards an America that has progressed past the violence of abortion and suicide by physician. Affirming that the American way is intrinsically one that sustains, cherishes, and affirms human life is a strong act of leadership that will not soon be forgotten. I applaud this administration for standing up for life, and stating unequivocally that everyone counts.
