House Speaker Paul Ryan has been a champion of pro-life legislation during his tenure as speaker, and his leadership on this issue will be greatly missed. Under Speaker Ryan, the House of Representatives has passed a variety of pro-life legislation, including the codification of the Hyde Amendment, protections for pain-capable unborn children at 5 months, defunding the abortion giant Planned Parenthood, conscience protections, and much more. Americans United for Life was honored to work with Speaker Ryan over the past three years, and we wish him all the best as he prepares to enter a new chapter in his life.
