Celebrating a Renewed Era of Pro-Life Leadership

WASHINGTON,D.C  — On this historic Inauguration Day, Americans United for Life (AUL) congratulates President Donald J. Trump and Vice President J.D. Vance as they assume office. The pro-life movement stands ready to partner with the new administration to advance policies that protect life from conception to natural death and support families across our nation.

John Mize, Americans United for Life (AUL) CEO commented:

“After four years of policies that undermined the dignity of life, we are thrilled to welcome a pro-life administration back to the White House. President Trump and Vice President Vance’s commitment to protecting the unborn presents a historic opportunity to restore life-affirming policies at home and abroad. Together, we can safeguard the most vulnerable and promote a culture that cherishes every human life.

“AUL urges the Trump-Vance Administration to prioritize reinstating commonsense safety measures on the abortion pill as the deregulation of these drugs has placed countless women and unborn children at risk by removing necessary medical oversight and safeguards.”

“We must ensure that the abortion pill is not trafficked into neighborhoods without medical supervision, accountability, or regard for the lives of women and their unborn children,” Mize continued. “Reinstating these safety measures is not only a moral imperative but also a commonsense step to prevent harm and save lives.”

“In addition to addressing the abortion pill crisis, AUL encourages the Trump Administration to swiftly restore critical pro-life policies, including the expanded Mexico City Policy/Protecting Life in Global Health Assistance (PLGHA), restoring Title X rules to prevent federal funding for elective abortion referrals, and safeguarding pro-life appropriations riders. Additionally, the Administration should pardon all pro-life advocates unjustly prosecuted under the FACE Act for exercising their First Amendment right, and apply equal application of the law for violent offences against pregnancy centers. These actions, along with the nomination of constitutionalist judges and Justices, will ensure lasting protections for life and justice under the law.”

“Our nation must also commit to supporting families at every stage—through pregnancy, childbirth, postpartum, and beyond,” Mize said. “We call on the Trump Administration to implement compassionate policies that uplift parents and children, both born and unborn, while reversing harmful executive actions that prioritize abortion over life-affirming care.”

“Americans United for Life stands ready to assist the new administration as a legal and policy resource to address urgent issues such as assisted suicide, euthanasia, and other life-demeaning acts. This renewed partnership provides a unique opportunity to enact meaningful, lasting protections for life and to encourage states to adopt robust pro-life laws that reflect the values of the American people.”
