As we live through this pandemic, we are in some sense able to look ourselves in the mirror and discover what sort of lives we’re living—and if we’re finding ourselves happier and more fulfilled with the content of our lives today than we were yesterday, this is a time for thoughtful reflection about what we will do improve things post-pandemic. And we’ve got a chance to do this not only individually and in our families, but also as a nation. Who do we, as the American people, want to become in a post-pandemic world? And what cultural changes might have already been underway, but which we might find accelerated in the months and years to come?
