Security
Americans United for Life (AUL) is committed to stewarding the resources entrusted to us wisely. We endeavor to maintain our databases in a manner that safeguards sensitive information of our valued supporters.

Personal Information
Unless you voluntarily provide us with any personal information, such as your e-mail address, this site and our associated databases do not collect personal information about you without your knowledge.

When you visit our site, we collect the following information: internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, operating system, date/time stamp, and clickstream data. This information is used for analysis of trends and site management purposes only.

If you complete a web form on our site containing personal information, we collect and store the personal information which you choose to provide, such as your mailing address, e-mail address and the content of any request for information or any comments you may have. You will only be added to our communication lists when you have granted permission to do so.

Contributions
In particular, when you contribute online at AUL.org, the transaction is processed using encrypted code on a secure donation site, on a secure and dedicated web server. The personal information that is requested is the same that we would request for donating through the mail. We do not retain records of contributors’ credit card numbers. A third-party commercial credit card processing institution manages this process. Our donation and order processing systems are routinely tested for PCI-compliance, and we make adjustments to security settings and practices as necessary.

Out of respect for the privacy of our supporters, AUL does not share donor information with other parties.

If you choose to provide any personal information, such as your mailing address or phone number, we may use that information to contact you.
