The Beginning of Human Life is a collection of testimonies that were submitted to the Subcommittee on Separation of Powers of the United States Senate Committee on the Judiciary. Doctors Matthews-Roth, Gordon, and Lejeune presented their papers orally on April 23, 1981. The paper of Dr. Ratner was submitted in written form only.
