Matthew Eppinette, M.B.A, M.A.

Director of Communications

 

Matthew Eppinette, M.B.A., M.A., is Director of Communications at Americans United for Life (Chicago, Illinois) and an Associate Fellow at The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity (Bannockburn, Illinois). In his role as Director of Communications  he oversees corporate communications including traditional media, internet, and new media.

 

Matthew received a B.S. in Business Management and Administration from Louisiana State University in Shreveport, an M.B.A. from Louisiana Tech University, and an M.A. in Bioethics from Trinity International University where his thesis was entitled Bodiless Exultation? Transhumanism and Embodiment.

 

A chapter authored by Matthew, “Human 2.0: Transhumanism as a Cultural Trend,” appears in Everyday Theology: How to Read Texts and Interpret Trends (Baker Academic, 2007). He is also coauthor of chapters on podcasting, video blogging, and bioethics in The New Media Frontier (Crossway, 2008).

 

In addition, Matthew has been published in Ethics & Medicine: An International Journal of Bioethics and Industrial Management and Data Systems. Conferences at which Matthew has spoken include the Humanities and Technology Association’s Technology and Religion conference, The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity’s Neuroethics: The New Frontier, and Cedarville University's Annual Conference on Bioethical Issues.

 

He is a member of The Center for Bioethics & Human Dignity and the American Society for Bioethics & Humanities.

 

Matthew and his wife Ginger live in Chicago.
