Anna Franzonello

Staff Counsel

Anna Franzonello is Staff Counsel with Americans United for Life.  Anna formerly served as a Legal Fellow for Americans United for Life in 2008 and was a Blackstone Fellow with the Alliance Defense Fund.  During her summer 2007 Blackstone Fellowship, she was a research assistant at the Family Research Council in Washington, DC .

In May 2009 Anna graduated cum laude from Notre Dame Law School, where she served as President of the Federalist Society.  She was an active member of the St. Thomas More Society and the pro-life law student association Jus Vitae.

Anna worked for Notre Dame’s Center for Ethics and Culture helping develop their pro-life initiative, the Notre Dame Fund to Protect Human Life. Anna earned her BA in History from Franciscan University in 2003.  In college, Anna was an active member of Students for Life, sidewalk counseling at abortion clinics in Pittsburgh.

Americans United for Life (AUL) is a nonprofit, public-interest law and policy organization whose vision is a nation in which everyone is welcomed in life and protected in law. The first national pro-life organization in America, AUL has been committed to defending human life through vigorous judicial, legislative, and educational efforts at both the federal and state levels since 1971.
