Each summer, AUL hosts a Fellowship Program and selects top law students from across the nation who are committed to a culture of life and are considering a career in pro-life law.
The AUL Fellowship Program offers Fellows first-hand experience working to protect life through state and federal laws. Each Fellow's research culminates in a published article to be included in AUL's Defending Life: A State-by-State Legal Guide to Abortion, Bioethics, and the End of Life.
Through an intensive mentorship program, AUL prepares the next generation of attorneys to effectively communicate pro-life values through law and policy, to draft defensible legislation, and to engage in an effective litigation practice.
The program has grown dramatically over the last three years. AUL Fellows have represented a number of prominent law schools including Harvard, Yale, Boston College, Creighton, Gonzaga, Notre Dame, Ave Maria, University of California-Hastings, Pepperdine, and Catholic University.

"The AUL Fellowship represents a great opportunity to learn and serve with a top-notch public-interest law firm. AUL's reputation is unmatched for high quality legal work aimed at making every child welcome in life and protected in law."
-- Mary Ann Glendon, Learned Hand Professor of Law, Harvard University
